Mike Teavee was a TV-obsessed, violent fanatic who became the fourth child to find a golden ticket. His parents don’t seem at all concerned with how the television is impacting on their child and believe that he’s better off in front of a screen where they can keep an eye on him!
Mike Teavee meets his demise after messing about with a machine used to shrink and transport chocolate which causes him to shrink to a minuscule size. He then has to get taken to the ‘Gum-Stretcher’ Room to get stretched back to normal!
Actor Jordan Fry went on to voice the character of Lewis/Cornelius Robinson in the Disney animated film Meet the Robinsons. His most recent film appearance was playing the character of Ewan in Byrd and the Bees.
