Okocha joined Bolton Wanderers in 2002, where he became captain, leading Bolton to their first cup final in nine years where they finished second. He has now launched the Jay-Jay Okocha Foundation which uses football to raise awareness of the ‘importance of Education, Peace and Unity for the economic growth of Nigeria.’
