In 2015 Ronda Rousey was on top of the world. The poster girl for the UFC, the women’s bantamweight champion had led a destructive path of 12 consecutive wins. She headed into her fight with Holm as a heavy favourite, oh how we were proved wrong.
Holm dominated the contest, finishing the fight with a devastating head kick that rendered Rousey unconscious and left many in Marvel Stadium in Australia stunned.
