3. Teddy Duchamp (Corey Feldman) – THEN
Of the four kids at the core of Stand by Me, Corey Feldman’s Teddy Duchamp was the slightly erratic loose cannon who liked to swear like a sailor.
Feldman himself, of course, was already a favourite of many by the times he starred in 1986’s Stand by Me. Before that, the young actor had already featured in the Friday the 13th franchise, Gremlins, and The Goonies, and he would go on to become a staple of the ‘80s by adding Stand by Me and 1987’s The Lost Boys to his credits.
Throughout the ‘90s and beyond, Feldman’s career was reduced to low-budget, smaller projects as his own personal demons and substance issues took hold.
Having returned to the Lost Franchise in the 2000s with The Tribe and then The Thirst, Feldman is likely best known these days for his animal welfare and animal rights work.
