She was the brainiac best friend who teamed up with Chad to put an end to the musical madness. Taylor is the captain of the East High Scholastic Decathlon Team (I’m out of breath just reading that). She is intellectual and outspoken – you would not want to get into a debate with her, let’s put it that way. Since, Monique featured on Season 3 with fellow partner Louis Van Amstel, just after the original HSM in 2006. Swapping her dancing shoes for her work shoes, Monique got involved to help problems targeting the younger generation. She was appointed the first ever ‘Youth Champion’ by the United Nations to raise awareness for the problems facing youths. Still taking her role seriously, Monique has just released a brand new TV series. Pass me the remote!
