13. She openly identifies as pansexual
Reportedly a teenage Miley Cyrus came out to her mother, Tish, at age 14. In an interview for ‘Variety’ she said of her pansexuality:
“I always hated the word ‘bisexual,’ because that’s even putting me in a box. I don’t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl.”
Cyrus is an outspoken activist in support of the LGBTQ+ community, and she founded the Happy Hippie Foundation to support LGBTQ teens.
