Ariel Kaplan was cast after just one audition and screen test with cast members Harley Bonner, Rebekah Elmaloglou and Kip Gamblin.

Harley Bonner initially didn’t want to appear on the show but changed his mind! He is actually the son of Carla Bonner who also starred on the show. On learning acting tips from his mother, Harley said:
‘When Mum was on Neighbours she would run lines with me and I did pick up some tips from her then, so I’m glad I paid attention! But basically she wants me to find my own feet.’

Late 2013 – Ariel And Harley Confirm They Are In A Relationship

Ariel broke her silence after keeping it quiet when the two of them joined the soap in 2013. She said:
‘I love him more every day. It’s all really good. I am very regimented and organised and Harley is pretty much the most laid-back person in the world. I made him a little bit more on time and he relaxed me.’

2014- 2016 – Love’s Young Dream

The pair appeared to be love’s young dream as they frequently posted cute selfies, looking as happy as ever.

‘I am really happy when I am with him. He is a very good person and he makes me feel like a better person.’

August 2016 – The Break Up

Sadly, Ariel confirmed in her first YouTube video that the pair had split in 2016 after almost three years of dating.
According to Ariel, there was no bad blood between them and that they had simply just reached a point where they wanted different things out of life.

2017 – The Pair Move On From Each Other With New Partners

2019 – Ariel Returns To Neighbours

Ariel announced that she would be taking her character Imogen for another spin on the beloved soap and made her return on 22nd March 2019.
Most recently, Harley went on to star in TV series True Story with Hamish and Andy, playing the role of Stephen.
