Lady Adelaide Stitch (Angela Lansbury) – THEN

This lady had us in stitches (see what we did there?) during the confession scene between Evangeline and Cedric. As soon as Evangeline announced that yes, she did indeed love Mr. Brown, Lady Adelaide was mortified and thought it was incest! Cue the little kids looking exasperated and having to explain to their great-aunt that no, Evangeline is not their sister and no, it’s obviously not incest. She also takes six sugars in her tea so it’s no wonder she’s a little loopy!

Nowadays, Angela Lansbury is still taking Hollywood by storm at the age of 93. She clearly has no intention of stopping either, despite having an Honorary Oscar and a damehood from Queen Lizzy! Meanwhile we deem it a success when we get out of bed on a Monday morning for work!
