3. Young Ethan (Stan Kirsch) – THEN

Well this one was just a complete car crash of a situation… When Ethan and Monica started dating, he told her that he was a college senior. She felt a little disheartened about the age difference situation, so she lied initially and knocked a few years off her own age. After doing the do, Monica came clean about actually being twenty-six. Everything was fine and dandy until Ethan decided to put the cards on the table too: turns out he wasn’t a college senior at all, but a high school senior (eek)!

Monica, of course, totally freaked out and told Ethan that she couldn’t see him anymore, “because it’s icky” (that’s definitely one way to put it!). This was after Ethan said he was in love with her, and wanted to continue the relationship. Aw well, the gang certainly got a few giggles out of the whole situation…

And Stan Kirsch went on to continue acting, appearing most notably in Highlander as Richard H. ‘Richie’ Ryan. In addition to his own career, he works as an acting coach in Los Angeles. Over the years, he’s helped polish the skills of hundreds of budding actors. He also got married in 2009.
