Aw poor Charles Randolph.
He was such a nice, kind, elderly neighbour to Sara’s boarding school who had his hopes raised and dashed by the Army. Having discovered that his son was listed as missing in action, he is distraught and consequently asked to identify a soldier with amnesia (spoiler alert it’s actually Captain Crewe – yep, that’s right – Sara’s dad!) and again had his hopes dashed when it wasn’t his son.
And we still don’t know what happened to his boy! Poor Charles!
Real talk, what has Arthur Malet not been in? He was the iconic Toodles in Hook – he found his marbles and everything! Unfortunately, Arthur died in 2013 at the grand old age of 85.
