Brazillian born, retired P.E. teacher Wagner – who joined the series in the hopes of providing a better future for his son – is one of the oldest finalists The X Factor has ever seen.
Let’s be honest though, Wagner was never really taken seriously on the show and was only kept on for shock value -not that any of us cared about that at the time!
Soon after he left the competition, Wagner’s life completely changed -and not in the way you might have expected!
He met his much younger (we’re talking 36 years younger!) girlfriend Lydia Longville and almost immediately started a family with her! We should also mention that the singer was investigated for wrongfully claiming incapacity benefit for his ”frozen shoulder”. Yikes!!!
