HEARTTHROB ALERT. His spiky blonde locks, his smouldering baby blue eyes, his perfectly trimmed facial hair: Lucas Scott was every teenage girl’s dream. The minute we set our 14-year-old eyes on the actor, we all hoped and prayed that one day we’d wake up as his love interest, Peyton Sawyer.
Not only was he super dreamy, Lucas was also the resident all-round good egg: the loving son; the loyal bestie; and astoundingly, he was even reluctant to play the ladies man. Ummm… can we get this guy cloned PLEASE?!
Luckily, our shirtless posters (maybe a bit risqué for a teenager on second thoughts) could stay up on our walls long after OTH finished – Chad’s success in the acting industry continued (and still does) to blossom. Yep – if their were ever an actor who fitted the hunky (oh so dreamy) teen-movie love interest typecast – it was Mr Chad Michael Murray. A Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday, the list just goes on and on…
Now he’s hit 37, Murray’s days as teenage sweetheart are long gone. But that’s not stopped him from acting gigs (he most recently played Agent Jack Thompson in Agent Carter). Has he matured? Definitely. Does he still deserve that heartthrob status? You bet he does…
