Hands up if you hated Dan Scott…
No, really, Paul Johansson had a special talent for playing an absolutely loathsome individual every week on the show (he was almost too good). The biological father of Nathan and Lucas didn’t even think twice about the pressure he put on his sons to realise his own failed goal of becoming a bball player. Oh and did we mention Dan murdered his brother, drove his wife crazy and attempted to ruin his own son’s marriage… yup.
The disgraced dad finally un-disgraced himself in the end by sacrificing his own life to save Nathan from kidnappers.
Since his exit from OTH, Paul had a fair few shots in various TV shows, but – admittedly – in the same way that seeing Daniel Radcliffe as anyone other than Harry Potter weirds us all out, Paul’ll always be a Dan Scott to us.
