“They’ve gone wild, the girls have gone wild!”
I think we all had a school secretary like Joan, didn’t we? On the surface she was a bit on the controlling side and didn’t seem to have much empathy towards the students, but underneath she was actually very shy and was probably just doing her best.
Following her brief appearance in Mean Girls, Sharron Matthews was selected as Mr. Pinky’s cashier in the well-loved musical Hairspray!
From there she has appeared in a number of television shows including She’s the Mayor, Scaredy Squirrel, Taken and most recently the Frankie Drake Mysteries which have earned her a nomination for the Canadian Screen Award for the Best Supporting Actress In A Drama. Yes girl!
