Malin Andersson has been rushed to hospital, just weeks after the tragic loss of her daughter Consy, who was born seven weeks premature.
The ‘Love Island’ star suffered tragedy last month when her and partner Tom Kemp’s daughter Consy tragically passed away just four weeks after she was born seven weeks prematurely, and it seems the star has been struck by bad luck once again as she was taken to hospital this weekend.
Posting a picture of her arm hooked up to a drip, she wrote on Instagram:
“Greatest year ever. Not. When will it end (sic)”
Malin didn’t reveal what was wrong in her post, but her representative later said she became ill with a high fever and it is believed she could be suffering from a kidney infection.
A spokesperson told OK!:
“Malin was taken to hospital in an ambulance this afternoon with an extremely high fever and is awaiting test results. Though it looks like she may have a kidney infection.”
The 25-year-old reality star laid her daughter to rest earlier this month, and took to social media to admit she was struggling to make “sense” of her tragic loss.
She wrote:
“So tomorrow’s the day I bury my daughter and lay her to rest free from pain. I love you unconditionally baby girl. None of this makes sense. CONSY-GLORIA.”
Malin had previously used Instagram to announce her sad loss.
Malin – who lost her mother last year – shared a photo of her daughter on Instagram and wrote:
“Completely in love with you.. and my Mum just wanted you to be with her.
“Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes.
“I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy.
“My angel. Rest in peace CONSY GLORIA EMMA ANDERSSON-KEMP.”
