Avid fans can now get excited because a sequel to the film has officially been confirmed. Better still, it is apparently in production already.

Michael Gracey, the brilliant director behind the film, has revealed that the second in the series may be coming a lot sooner than we’re all anticipating.
“There were huge doubts about it for a very long time and some backers withdrew their money.”
