2. Courteney Cox & Johnny McDaid…
It feels like Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid have been together forever, but their love for each other has only been burning for around five years – which in celeb time, is near enough a lifetime!
The pair were brought together by the hands of fate, A.K.A. Ed Sheeran who was living with Cox rent free at her Malibu beach house for a short while back in 2014. At the time no one even knew they were pals and to this day we still don’t know how they became friends, but the singer commented:
“There was no rent but I made the bed and cups of tea and things like that.”
Anyway, one day Sheeran called Johnny over to help him work on his album X, and the pair fell head over heels for each other. Courteney shared:
“We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us. I can’t imagine him not playing something at the wedding. It’ll be a musical night.”
Unfortunately, the couple’s relationship was a bit wobbly in 2015 which led to them calling off their engagement but thankfully they have since patched things up and are still going strong!
