She’s the newest, royal sensation that married Prince Harry and the whole world still wants to know more about this American beauty who stole the Prince’s heart. With that will come – and did come – a lot of media scrutiny. I, for one, remember her from Suits, which has really put the spotlight on Meghan (Rachel Zane).
If she thought that she already had a lot of publicity, then she has a lot more paparazzi coming her way now that she married into one of the most influential and followed families in the world – then chose to sever ties with them before giving a tell-all interview for the world.
Markle was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, attending private schools in the Hollywood area. During her studies at Northwestern University, from which she graduated in 2003 with a degree in theatre and international studies, she began playing small roles in American television series and films. In 2011, she debuted in her best-known role, portraying leading character Rachel Zane on the legal drama series Suits.
In 2017, Markle announced her engagement to Prince Harry, grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, and retired from acting. The couple married on May 19, 2018, and she became the Duchess of Sussex.

The British Royal family live by some very high standards and after the Diana/Charles fiasco, they didn’t want to let just anyone into ‘the establishment’. I wonder what it was that made Meghan Markle the ‘perfect fit’ for Prince Harry? Even though they have no broke away, there’s no doubt that Harry and Meghan are still the perfect fit.

With the arrival of the new ‘hot duchess’ in the royal family, it appeared that Meghan was set to be a huge hit with the general public. People seemed to adore her and enjoy her royal appearances. It’s not clear whether the general public still feel the same in light of recent events… there are bound to be people who both support and oppose Meghan now that she’s taken a step back.

Going from Hollywood actress to Duchess of Sussex must have been a pretty big change for Markle.
After meeting Prince Harry in 2016, she had to choose between her career as an actress or the Royal family, and she chose the latter, choosing love for her future husband, too. It may not have worked out as well as she’d hoped, but there’s no doubt that she’s still choosing Harry and her own family in everything she does.
