42. Permanent scarecrow make-up
It is clear to see that there were so many problems with dangerous make-up used on the actors.
But, after wearing the costumed for Scarecrow for so long, Ray Bolger’s face was left with several lines.
‘It’s PERMANENT?!’
Well, it looks like he truly payed the price for playing and creating such an authentic character!
