Working long hours on set sounds hard enough, but what about when it is boiling hot constantly?

With it being filmed back in 1939, the struggle to cool down the room was real. Sometimes – the set got up to 100 degrees?!This was because back then the Technicolor process required a lot more lighting. I feel sorry for the Cowardly Lion!
