Can we call you Steve?
Multiple identities are a running theme of Robinson’s career – as he adopted the alias ‘Tommy Robinson’ in his early days as EDL founder – from Harris, to Lennon, to Robinson: which one will it be today?

Robinson speaks with pride as he talks about his step father who “used to go all over the world doing specialist pipe fitting” for the car company.
5. If you think Tommy isn’t academic – you’re wrong!
The outspoken activist was a high achiever in school and achieved 11 A-Cs at GCSE level. That’s a lot of qualifications! But it wasn’t down to hard work and determination, Tommy brags that he found the exams a walk in the park:
“I never studied and I still breezed it”.
Alright for some!

Despite achieving these grades at Putteridge High, Tommy was keen to leave school as soon as possible, (we don’t blame you!) and withdrew from education when he was 16.
6. Tommy is a big Hatters fan
No, we’re not talking bowlers, beanies and buckets. By ‘hatters’ we don’t mean that Tommy is into his headwear (after all, if he was, a flat cap is not the one for him).
