In my opinion accessories, no matter how ill advised, are the spice of life. You think you’re ready to go out but, wait, you’re lacking a little je ne sais quoi. But, with the introduction of a weird hat, a shiny belt or even a scarf that will annoy you all day getting in the way/trailing on the floor- voilà, you’re feeling spicy and ready to go.
14. One of the catchphrases is now used on christmas jumpers
‘Home Alone’ has spawned a few spin off accessories of it’s own: like this snazzy jumper.

The film-within-a-film in ‘Home Alone 2: Lost in New York’ end with the line, “Merry Christmas ya filthy animal”. Dutifully, someone has woven it into a cosy crimbo jumper, which has gone down a storm with fans and seriously confused others.
