10. They don’t wash the blankets and pillows either
If anything the minuscule pillow and fleecy blanket do nothing but taunt you with the vague, and entirely erroneous, idea that you might be going to get some restful sleep on your journey.
They might be snuggly, but multiple sources have reported that they’re not washed between flights- just stuffed back into the bags and wheeled out for the return leg. It’s like spooning with a stranger.
9. That carpet is a sticky hub of germs
In a Reader’s Digest article an airline insider said:
