King Henry VIII of England’s second wife, Anne Boleyn is a name that certainly cropped up in history class – but I bet you didn’t know she was a witch!

In 1536, rumours flew that Boleyn had committed treason, adultery and incest, so tagging witchcraft on to her list of offences seemed like an obvious choice. The queen was later beheaded for her crimes.
