We’ll never forget Ethel Skinner’s moving cry for help, as she begged pal Dot to assist her suicide. The ethical and moral predicament of assisted suicide has been considered through multiple soap-star deaths (Hayley, Peggy, Jackson – we’ll never forget you). But no farewell has hit us harder than frail Ethel’s heart-breaking plea for death. You can rest now, Ethel.
