He’s presented the show every year since it started all the way in 2002! Do you feel old yet? That is 16 YEARS AGO – and he hasn’t aged a day, whereas we are plucking the grey hairs out of our ‘tache as we speak. Despite the dodgy haircuts and the laughing fits, Dec has somehow managed to bag himself a £2.5 million for one month’s work. As you do. But, if anything, this series without Ant has confirmed that this little fella does not need his partner in crime to deliver humour and entertainment to the nation – killing it little guy!

How much is Dec worth?
As you’ve probably already suspected, Dec is worth quite a bit: £62 million to be exact. Yup, you read that right! To be fair, he has been working in showbiz for quite a while, and when you’re as famous as this TV duo, the pennies quickly add up.

He wanted to be what?
Dec was brought up a Roman Catholic, and still continues to practise his religion. It had so much of an impact on him when he was younger, that he had originally planned to become a priest. However, when the boys school student saw the pupils from the girls only school, he soon changed his mind. Go on son!
