Night after night, we tune into the most highly anticipated show of the year; the show can be described as nothing but a winter saviour – simultaneously keeping our November blues at bay whilst inviting the beginning of our premature Christmas countdown.
As much as we all love to laugh at the poor celebs’ expense, the underlying thought that is burning away in the back of our ever inquisitive minds: I could SO do that trial (and nail it, at that).

Well, unfortunately, as you are NOT a celebrity, we couldn’t possibly put a price tag on your worth – however, fortunately we do have quite a few price tags on the heads’ of the celebs who have entered the jungle this year, and we’ve got to say: they aren’t too shabby…not too shabby at all!
John Barrowman
Best known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood and as a TV presenter – John Barrowman has well and truly made his entrance in to the jungle!
He is hoping to be the first ever King and Queen of the jungle. As he is such a big name (for jungle stars, anyway) it’s been rumoured that he could get a six figure sum – word on the grapevine is that he is being paid up to £200,000! Not bad for a Panto Queen, if we do say so ourselves, darling.

One of the fan favourites, John is said to be worth £3.1 million! His millions (literally) are not just from his acting roles, but from his numerous albums and two memoirs – Anything Goes and I Am What I Am. With her newly dyed pink hair, Rita Simons is another well known name. As the niece of Lord Alan Sugar, Rita could easily get away with asking for a pretty penny! Sources state that she is being paid somewhere between £80,000 and £100,00 – pocket change for Mr Suga Suga.

We definitely wouldn’t say no to a 5 figure pay check, that’s fo sho.

Despite coming second on The X Factor, Fleur is apparently only worth about £2 million. ‘Only’! Most of this wealth came from her album – Love, Sax and Flashbacks -which was released in December 2015. It went to number fourteen on the charts, which obviously wasn’t good enough for Mr Cowell.

James is a guitarist in the band, The Vamps.
It’s believed that he will pull a younger audience into the show, which will work in his favour pay wise. Reports have it that he will be earning at least £40,000, if not more!
Which, for a VEGETARIAN, who has therefore willingly signed up to 3 weeks of rice and beans – we, quite frankly, think this little stud deserves an extra ten grand adding to that measly little pay check (don’t worry, James – we’ve got you).

He’s presented the show every year since it started all the way in 2002! Do you feel old yet? That is 16 YEARS AGO – and he hasn’t aged a day, whereas we are plucking the grey hairs out of our ‘tache as we speak.
Despite the dodgy haircuts and the laughing fits, Dec has somehow managed to bag himself a £2.5 million for one month’s work. As you do. But, if anything, this series without Ant has confirmed that this little fella does not need his partner in crime to deliver humour and entertainment to the nation – killing it little guy!
