Of course, just because we dont like a character in every capacity that they lend to the show, that doesnt mean that we dont need them in order to make this show a complete success. We do like the ones that we hate as well. Take Merle, for instance. This guy was well hated! However, he did lend a certain evil aspect that the viewers sorely needed in order to keep this plot moving forward. I mean, the characters and they interact with each other play a key role in the success of such a series. Or else, its just a bunch of zombie killing!
