An analysis by MEN ranked local authorities in terms of unhealthiness and found Tameside, in East Manchester, to rank in the top 10.

Tameside fell at ninth place- so it could have been worse for this Mancunian borough, but it’s not the place to move to if you’re in need of a healthier lifestyle!
8. Walsall
Apart from its name resembling the Polish capital, Warsaw, there isn’t much else going on there…

Walsall has a big problem with booze-related violence, so much so that it employs Community Support Officers to deal with the 24 hour binge drinking culture

The children of Walsall also contribute to the unhealthy title Walsall has earned; with around 25.5% being classed as clinically obese.
