The cast and crew were having difficulty breathing because they felt like they were being choked, viewers at home reported seeing dark figures on the webcams and furniture was rocking violently or being destroyed…

Cat in a cottage

A 17th century cottage was also unearthed (which matches with the timeline of the trials) around that area.

The bones of a cat were found bricked into the walls of a sealed room, which was thought to protect inhabitants from evil spirits…

Historians believe that the cottage belonged to one of the Pendle witches – the fact that it was found so well-preserved 400 years later definitely goes with the witchcraft theory!
