This village in Kent was named the most haunted village in Britain for a while, before the Guinness Book of World Records got rid of the title.

More than 12 ghost sightings have been reported, but a young reporter from The Telegraph (who visited the place a while back) said she found the village far too pretty to be spooked – each to their own!

Among the sightings, one ghostly woman apparently haunts Pinnock Bridge where she used to hang out, smoke her pipe and drink gin.

She also used to sell watercress too – before she dramatically burst into flames, of course!

Hanging headteacher

Others include a headteacher found hanged by kids, a screaming man (not entirely sure why he does it), a highwayman who ran through a sword and was pinned to a tree and various grey/white lady ghosts!
