It didn’t matter that Bogdanovich was a married man of nine years, he wanted to be with Cybill and that was all there was to it. He went on to divorce his wife and started a new life with his mistress -which lasted all of six years. Although the pair never made it into married life, they are still friendly and harbour no ill will towards each other.
