34. John F. Kennedy: Gunshot Wound
The 35th president of the United States was assassinated whilst on parade in an open topped car in November 1963.

John F. Kennedy died from two direct gunshot wounds, although it wasn’t immediately clear who the culprit was.
35. John Lennon: Assassinated
Peace activist and Beatles singer John Lennon was assassinated on the doorstep of his home by Mark Chapman.

Mark Chapman, who claimed he was a ‘fan’ of Lennon, admitted to murdering the star and even described that he had used hollow-point bullets “because they are more deadly”.
36. Kirsty MacColl: Boating Accident
English composer, Kirsty MacColl died whilst diving with her children in Mexico when a boat started heading towards them. Kirsty managed to save her family but she was hit and died instantly.
