2. Wem Ghost, Shropshire…
On November 19, 1995, photographer Tony O’Rahilly snapped this eerie picture while Wem Town Hall, Shropshire was burning.
It wasn’t until later that the ghostly girl in the doorway was noticed. It is widely believed that the apparition could be the spirit of Jane Churm: a young girl who died in another fire in the town hall in 1677.

When the Cooper’s moved into their new home in Texas, the last thing they ever expected was a body hanging from the ceiling as they took a family photo. Creepy, right?
