25. The Skunk Ape
Eighteen years ago, a woman mailed photographs of what she thought was an ”ape” to her county sheriff’s office and claimed it had taken apples from her porch.

The photo, however, looks nothing like any known species of ape and it has since been named the Skunk Ape by Big Foot theorists.
