Films love to make horror films about plane crashes and having to fend for yourself. It makes good TV, but what happens when it’s reality?
7) Uruguayan Flight 571 – Crash
They all look so happy to be travelling. Unfortunately, the plane crashed in the Andes, killing 27 out of the 45 passengers. Heartbreaking.

The survivors were then eventually forced to cannibalize the dead in order to stay alive! 16 people were eventually rescued.
