It’s no secret that some people just have bad luck. But being completely unaware of a life-threatening disease outbreak is completely harrowing.
4) The Ebola Outbreak of 1972
Nurse Mayinga N’Seka was just excited over helping to try to cure the Ebola crisis. She was so dedicated to her job and wanted a picture to remember her work.

There was one small situation – her dedication meant that she eventually contracted the disease herself and passed away not long after the picture was taken. Bad luck or just science?
