We love our gin
After a hard day, or just any day, we love a G+T. We love them so much that sales of gin in 2018 have reportedly tripled since 2009! (We are thinking we have contributed to 99% of that increase…).

The North-East isn’t renowned for its drinking for nothing! Around 40% of people admitted to drinking too much on their heaviest sessions.

Funnily enough though, people in the North-East actually tend to drink less often than those in the South. They like to drink their week’s units in 1 go instead! (This is not recommended…).
41. Islington
Considering the size of London, it doesn’t seem to drink that much alcohol! Islington is an exception though…

Islington has the highest rate of hospital admissions for alcohol-related reasons out of all the London boroughs!
40. Aberdeen
Also known as the “Granite City” due to its abundance of grey buildings…Is this an explanation of why its population drink alcohol? I’m sure not, Aberdeen is lovely!
