It’s weird to know that Kevin is from Scotland and Camilla is from England. You would never know this to see their characters on this show.
50. Shonda comes up with back stories for these characters that she never reveals.
She knows more about the characters than even the actors do! For example, Shonda reveals that Preston Burke’s “mother owned a restaurant in Alabama.” She says that this helps them “feel real” to her.
