There’s going to be new songs
It supposedly features a whole lot of new songs written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
You not what that means, right? Singalong!
They’re famous for the stage musical adaptations of Hairspray and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Shaiman is also writing an entirely new musical score to accompany the film. And apparently there’s even a few dance numbers!
31. Andrews won awards
She won the Golden Globe for ‘Best Actress’ above Audrey Hepburn, who had been cast instead of her in My Fair Lady.

She also won the Oscars, where she thanked Walt Disney:
“I have so many thank yous, I only know where to start – and that’s with Mr. Walt Disney, and naturally he has the largest thank you of all.”
32. There were fluctuations in take numbers
Andrews really wanted to make sure her lullaby ‘Stay Awake’ was perfect. She took around 47-50 takes in the recording studio to get it spot on.
