She accepted so long as he were to abide by her terms: that no Disney songs were to be included, and that no one from the film be involved.

Mackintosh eventually managed to sneak a few of the Disney songs in. But when Travers passed away in 1996, Mackintosh enlisted the Disney company to co-produce the production with him.

You might have guessed that the robin wasn’t a real robin. And that’s right – it’s animatronic.

It was actually wired down Andrews’ arm. Apparently, you can actually momentarily see it in the scene the robin appears in (‘A Spoonful of Sugar’).
