Terrible accident…
The scene took an ironic turn, and ended in the tragic death of the children. What makes this accident even worse (if it COULD get worse), is that the children’s parents witnessed it all in front of their very eyes. The crash killed three people on the ground (actor Vic Morrow and two child actors: Myca Dinh Le and Renee Shin-Yi Chen) as well as injured the six helicopter passengers – including the director, John Landis.
