25. The Battle of the B*stards
This should probably be higher on the list, but the truth is that there are so many truly shocking moments in this show that it makes it hard.
Hard fought
In any case, this battle occurred in the series 7, when Jon decided to rally his forces against the murderous Ramsay Bolton.

Ramsay, of course, had become well hated by the fan-base for his torture of Theon, and his horrendous marriage to Sansa.
Yes, Sansa!
But this battle led to a whole new realm of hatred against Ramsay after he killed Rickon Stark.

Jon recklessly charged towards Ramsay’s forces – and the battle was almost lost. The Wildlings and Northern forces were surrounded.
Ramsay met his end – finally!
Luckily, Sansa had thought to enlist the aid of Petyr Baelish. He brought the Vale’s cavalry forces with him, and they charged the field of battle, wiping Ramsay’s own infantry away. It was a truly brilliant scene to watch – even more so after seeing Ramsay realise that he had lost the battle…
