10. The Purple Wedding
Does everyone remember just how much they hated Joffrey? I sure do. From torturing poor Sansa, to ridiculing Tyrion, to just being a downright brat. The point is, we all hated him.
So hate-worthy
So when it came to the day when Margaery and Joffrey were to wed each other, we all sat waiting with bated breath.

The reception was enough to be classed as shocking, with Joffrey continuously mocking Tyrion and having him serve as his cupbearer.
It’s not looking good
When Joffrey started to cough horrendously after having a slice of pie and a gulp of wine, we still didn’t quite know what to expect.

But as he started to convulse it became quite plain that he’d been poisoned. Within moments, King Joffrey was dead.
It’s not like we’re ever going to miss him
Olenna Tyrell – the brains behind the horrendous deed – got it just right when she spoke with Jaime before her own death:
“Must have been horrible for you, as a Kingsguard as a father. It was horrible enough for me, a shocking scene, not at all what I intended.”
