11. Tyrion commits patricide
Tyrion is perhaps the most admirable character from Thrones (beside Jon). He always tried to do the best he could with what he had been given, and the only thing he asked for in return was loyalty.
The only truly decent player of the game
Unfortunately for him, his Lannister family never was the most loving. Cersei made her sentiments towards Tyrion clear from the start: she hated him for causing her mother’s death.

Similarly, Tyrion’s father – Twyin – pretty much despised Tyrion since his birth for the same reason. That, and Tywin was all about family legacy and honour – something which he felt Tyrion besmirched.
Not the way you want to go
Tywin and Cersei always wanted Tyrion dead. That’s largely why they pinned Joffrey’s death on him. Following his trial, Tyrion was sentenced to death. But his loving brother, Jaime, set him free before that could happen.

But Tyrion couldn’t just let this one go. He wanted to confront his father and get it all out. He wanted to know how his father – his own flesh and blood – could want him dead so badly.
Not to be underestimated
Sadly for Tyrion, arriving at the Hand’s chambers he found his love, Shae, in his father’s bed. Tyrion killed her and proceeded to shoot Tywin three times with a crossbow, whilst the latter was sat on the privy. Definitely a fitting end for a man who was obsessed with ensuring that his family remained prestigious and honourable.
