14. Bran’s “fall”
We all remember the fall that started everything – don’t we? Bran Stark was renown for his love of climbing.
Bran just loved to climb around Winterfell
When the royal family visited Winterfell at the behest of King Robert back in series 1, Bran Stark was in line to meet him.

He was also out climbing the day that a large party went out hunting with the King.
I should never have seen that
It was climbing on that fatal day that led Bran to catch Cersei and Jaime in the act.

Rather than risk the possibility that Bran might tell someone about what he’d seen, Jaime pushed him from the window.
Bran was paralyzed by the fall
Bran, of course, did wake up, but was paralysed from the waist below. It was his attempted murder that sparked the War of the Five Kings, and introduced viewers to the first of the horrors the show was to inflict.
