Ocious was played by none other than actor John Goodman, who made his acting debut in 1980 as Herbert in Eddie’s Macon’s Run.

Before The Borrowers, John had already done his fair share of acting. He had starred in films such as Revenge of the Nerds, The Wrong Guys, and Punchline.
