It’s reputedly the oldest public house in Wales, and one of the oldest in the UK.
Traces back to when?
In fact, it traces back as far as the Norman Conquest. Several ghosts have been spotted inside, and a number of strange occurrences to accompany it.

Some of the scary entities include a hangman, a judge and a man condemned to death. But there’s also the clergyman – noted as being a friendly presence.
