She is said to roam the house
What’s odd about this ghost is that she appears most often in the day. It doesn’t seem like she wants to scare anyone.
A peaceful ghost
People connect her presence with the unfortunate nature of her husband’s death. He committed suicide in 1816, leaving Olivia to raise their children alone.

People have complained about a mysterious knocking coming from the nursery cot, but that’s about as threatening as the ghost has ever been. If you want to experience the paranormal without terror, this is probably a good shout!
28. Barnes Hospital, Cheadle
This former hospital is located on the border between Manchester and Stockport. When it was first built, it was surrounded by the countryside.

However, now there’s roads all around it. It was completed in 1875, and operated as a convalescent home during World War II.
It was once alive
However, it was eventually closed in 1999 whilst the NHS underwent a cost cut, but preserved from demolition.
