6. Blickling Hall, Norwich

But it’s supposedly haunted by a very famous individual… Anne Boleyn – Henry VIII’s second wife.

Anne was of course beheaded at the Tower of London, at the order of her husband.

But every year, on the anniversary of her death (19th May), she’s said to return to Blickling Hall – headless. It’s thought that this was her birthplace.
